Hello everyone,

Scenario:
- 2 HP servers with QLogic HBAs in (2 connected fibres for better redundancy
- Multipath).
- OS, Windows 2008 x64 with Hyper-V.

Problem:
- In full windows installations I used powerpath to balance and failover to
the HBAs.
- How can I do this in 2008 Core edition?
- Does Microsoft Multipath handles this? If yes, where can I find a manual
or something that explains the possible configurations with MS Multipath.
- Should ÃŽ use a version of PowerPath to do this? does anyone knows if
there's a PowerPath version for server core?

I’m really confused about the way that this should be done. Any suggestions
will be appreciated. Thank you all for your time.

Server Core complicates this matter significantly. While I'm not sure, you
might be able to get this properly configured through the registry. This is
how one configures the Speed/Duplex parameters for a NIC in Server Core (and
it's not very pretty).

Hope this helps,
