Cluster Shared Volumes - Mountpoint support?

I have created a two node Windows Server 2008 R2 Cluster which uses
mountpoints instead of drive letters.
I am receiving the following error"
"storage resource 'Cluster Disk 2' cannot be added to Cluster Shared Volumes
because it has mount points"

Is there a way to have the CSV's use mountpoints?

The first node in the cluster "does" provide the option to remove the
mountpoint. Can I safely remove the mountpoint ?

Each CSV volume will be accessible using c:\clusterstorage\volumeN folder,
which behaves similar to a mountpoint. It is NOT SUPPORTED to have any
additional mountpoints or drive letters for the CSV volumes. Moreover it is
important that you NEVER attempt to open files on the CSV volume using a
path other than c:\clusterstorage\volumeN. If you do that then you most
likely end up corrupting data on the volume.
