We are planning to install Veritas Volume manager 5.1 in an existing Windows
2003 server that has 10 TB of data with windows cluster configured. The
storage is NetApp and configured with 2 TB Luns with NTFS file system with
basic as the hard disk type. We use this cluster as archiving server. Can
anyone help us explaining all the precaution we have to take before we go
ahead.

Hi,

As this issue is mainly related to Veritas Volume manager 5.1 installation
and it is a program manufactured by a company independent of Microsoft, we
are not the best resource to deal with this issue. I suggest contacting its
manufacturer - Veritas (now part of Symantec) for direct assistance.

In addition, I would like to let you know that the managed support service
of the newsgroup Microsoft.public.windows.server.clusering is now available
instead on the Windows Server Clustering forum:
