I was watching CNN, and in one moment it started showing a woman talking and
showing some content on a browser, this was in CNN studios...

I was recoding this on my TV tuner card, so I went back out of curiosity and
zoomed in to see what the browser they were using was...

It was firefox 2.0 lol

The OS interface was not apparent.. it might of even have been linux or
unix..

If CNN is using firefox.. I guess that tells us something about IE7 ....

what? That its a CRAP browser?

Firefox is gaining more and more momentum more so even AFTER IE7 was
released..

MS had hoped that after IE7 was released they would stop the surge of people
going to firefox,
the opposite was true..

after seeing the horrible interface of IE7 people started abandoning it far
more faster..
and with good reason..

that UI is not usable.. even with add ones like IE7 pro its still horrible.

I personally use AVANT or Firefox.. avant still uses the IE7 (trident)
rendering engine, but goes away from that stupid IE7 interface..

if you want to check it out www.avantbrowser.com

Microsoft doesn't have to fear its competition...its destroying its own
products!

I have XP on three machines. NONE of them have IE7 and I never use IE6
except to update Office. I've been happily using Firefox since it came out.

And if you install the IETab extension, you don't even need IE to update MS
applications or OSs....

I use Firefox. Along with IE7 and Opera. Nothing wrong with IE7, I'm just
used to Firefox. Of course, Firefox constantly uses a lot more RAM than IE7.

So tell us what was the point of your post? That you visit newsgroups
for software that you don't use? That one entity using a product that
was news to you suddenly provides some proof of a conclusion that you
already had decided upon? Pretty much your post has as value and
information as the MI5 sporge of late. Someone was actually pointing
a gun at your head to force you to use Internet Explorer? If so, do
you want us to call 911 for you?

Stupidity is your bliss.
Are you also concerned with the brand of underwear boys wear?
What a wacko.

Vista is quite good.
As is XP.
As is ubuntu.

You are just a petty little nerd.
