Did you ever get any resolution on this problem of a year ago? I am
experiencing the same problem and don't know whether I should pursue it or
just give up.

Thanks,
Maryse

"it"? There is nowhere in here any context quoted to know what you are
having trouble with. There is some implication that "it" is an update but
*which* one?...

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Vista.
</quote>

Have you done that? This update is so old that perhaps by now "the latest
service pack" will also include the update so then you wouldn't have any
trouble installing it because it wouldn't be offered to you. ; )
