Dell supplies Vista through an agreement with MS. Therefore, Dell *must*
support Vista. Contact them again and do not allow them to ignore this
issue. Ask to speak to someone higher up than the tech you first get.
AFAIK, Dell's warranty includes on site support if their initial online
diagnosis fails to resolve Operating System issues.
If they refuse to honor their end of the deal, request a refund and
return the system to Dell.
