Just loaded windows vista premium 64bit, and when I try to do a windows
update, I get the message
"Windows could not search for new updates
Error(s) found:
Code 8024402C"
I have to disable the firewall to be able to receive updates. I have already
ticked the "auto detect settings" in internet options/connections/LAN
settings and still get the same problem. I have searched the data base and
done all the recomends for this problem.
Is there a way for the firewall to accept windows updates without being
disabled?
