I had the same problem - My video card is Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra AGP and
a Dell 1702FP: 17in. LCD. I Down Loaded & Uploaded Drivers nothing,
Just a black screen period and No Help.
So I switched to a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 updated the driver, yes the
Monitor works,
but MWXP will only install a standard Plug and Play Monitor, so where am I
going with this, Basically, I have a working P & P Monitor, O’Boy SP2
installed, A Blue Screen if I stay on the Internet more than One Hour do to a
Driver, Hmm!,
Yes, I went out pick up MWXP Pro 2002 with SP2 Tec. Wiped the drive,
Installed WXP 2002, restarted it Blue Screen Crash, no Burn! Wipe it,
Installed MWXP Pro 2000, Restarted (Beautiful) with SP2, Only One Problem NO
update Driver for GeF4 MX 440 AGP & I do not stay on Online more than 55
minutes or you guessed it Blue Screen: error code 80246002. NO, I am not a
Micro Tec but I know One Thing, If broken, build One, If it Runs Do not
update it! After a & Years & A Long 27 Hours of Work, I Did Not Need. Is
there a Fix for the GeF4 MX 440 or a FX 5200 Ultra Driver Really? Someone
Please Help Me.

Thank You,
Leo
