Codecs in WMP

Windows XP Media Centre Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3.
WMP Version 11.0.5721.5268

Only audio on WMV video files in WMP. Following the Help FAQ's I see that
there are no Audio or Video Codecs listed in WMP (which could be the
problem). WMP Version 11 is supposed to automatically update Codecs?

Any thoughts?
