Do you mean the Contact 'picker' tool in WLM(Windows Live Mail)
- visible when clicking on To: when composing a message
If so, the Group appears as an single line item entry(alphabetically sorted) amongst your Contacts.(it is not expandable or
collapsible).
Double clicking it when composing a message will add it to the To: field in the message. To remove email addresses from the
intended distribution , click on the + sign(to expand the contents in the To field, select and delete accordingly)
When opening WLM's Contacts the Categories are listed in the left hand pane. Click on a Category to show its respective Contacts.
- Separately, Note: Removing a contact from a Category(right click contact, scroll to Remove from Category)does not delete the
contact from the main Contact list.
If you are referring to WLMsgr(Windows Live Messenger)
- If Contacts are organized by Categories instead of Online Status(Tools/Options/Layout/<Organize contacts by:> then click on the
triangle adjacent to the Category name to collapse or expand.
