colours of contacts

Like all forced to update, not happy. The main problems i have are that the
contacts are now in grey as opposed to the easy to see if on line or not red
in the old sytstem, i have problems seeing the grey tones and would like to
know if i can somehow change them to the old colours.

They were red when the person was offline, maybe it was because i was running
messenger 7.5
