Combining items and lots of Changed Copy files

My Ipaq has synced with my home and work computer OK for years.

Now everytime I sync it with either computer it asks if I want to combine
items, which I say yes to. Then word and excel files that I sync copy
themselves and it says "Changed Copy Of ......" It will then re copy all the
files everytime I sync.

How on earth can I stop this?

Are you having to setup a new partnership each time you login? If so then
the partnership is not being stored. Take a look at

No it always syncs me with the same partnership.

Hi,
Is your account on your PC in the local administrators group? It may be a
problem with writing information to the registry.
