banner for the channel just selected but it wont changed channel, channel
won't changed using the keyboard either I have to use remote from camcast to
change channels. I'm running Windows XP sp3. with a ATI tvt2 wonder elite

Have you tried using the other IR blaster that came with your system between
your MC IR receiver and the IR signal input location on the DTA STB?

I have the IR that came with the system plug in to a USB port with the IR
tape to the front of the DTA where the green light is, on the DTA the IR that
came with the DTA still plug in to the back of the DTA as per these Instr.
Should I unplug the IR from the back of the DTA?

Yes
The ir receiver that plugs into the DTA is an extender and is furnished so
you can hide the DTA out of sight.

the instructions clearly say do *not* use the IR remote extender. Please remove
it. power cycle everything and run through setup again.

5. IR two way blaster cable. The DTA adapter comes with a remote and an IR
extender. Do NOT use the IR extender to plug into your eHome MCE receiver.

I do not have the IR extender that came with the DTA plug into the eHome
receiver # 2 hole , but it is still plug into the back of the DTA. I did
cover the green light on the DTA receiver and place the IR extender that came
with the eHome receiver over it. I also try this set-up with a Camcast DCH-70
with the same results everything worked in the WMC remote but changing
channels. I hope this makes sense as to what set up I have.

I just removed the IR extender that came with the DTA so it is running only
with the eHome receiver plugged in to a USB port, I can only still change
channels if I use the DTA remote, keyboard # pad shows channels #'s in the
screen but does not change channels. Any ideas?
