I have a special need to get games to work in Halsoft Chat.
The following instructions were give which assumed that Halsoft was
installed on C-drive.

You do need to go to start, programs, accessories and right click command
prompt and click run as administrator, that is critical.

You need to change its directory
You do that when its open there by doing this:

Type cd\ and hit Enter

That brings you to c:\

(actually looks like this: C:\> )

Then u type this

cd program files\vplaces\games

That brings you to the games directory

Then you can type in regsvr32 nameofgame.ocx and the game will work after
that.

LOL here is my problem, Halsolf is actually installed on D-drive so to
execute the necessary commands I think I need to go to D:\> prompt before
typing in this:

cd program files\vplaces\games

HOW the heck do I get to D:\> prompt ??

I have searched on google and found numberous places that tell how, but NONE
of them worked. Always come back to C:\>

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jerry,
I'm not sure what you're asking but to change drives from any command prompt
just type in the drive letter and a colon then hit enter e.g. If you're on
the C drive and want to go to the D drive simply type D: (enter). IOW, at
C:\> D: (and enter)
