Commercial Software Loading Prob

Have purchsed a commercial software package and when installing it req a
serial code. I input the code supplied and then it response that it cannot
find the code and to input it again, which I do. The pgm installs and works
fine (I think). It continues to work until I do a system shutdown
(gracefully). When I restart the sytem and execute the program it inidcates
it cannot find the ser code and I need to reenter it. I do and all is well,
util I shutdown again.

It seems that where ever it is putting the ser code is lost on shutdown.

The software vendor has been working on this with me for several weeks now,
but has yet to trigger on the "shutdown" action.

Any ideas ???

Try running the program as Admin by right clicking on the icon and selecting
Run As Administrator. Then enter the serial registration number. Then
close the program and run it again as normal. It should have stuck after
that.
