Your stuff and all the updates.
Not all of those 'reset to factory' things that the OEM provides get you
everything back it came with and they definitely leave out the years worth
of work/email/documents/pictures you collected. Plus - if you had not done
that (and instead - just kept your computer clean and backed up as you went
along) - you woldn't be in this fix. ;-)
What i am saying is that I have seen very few actual reasons that would
force one to clean install their computer. Virus infections, time issues...
That's about it. I have a Windows XP install that I have used since 2001.
It's gone through various hardware changes and is now actually a virtual
machine running on top of Windows Vista. I haven't had to do a clean
install on it since I got it and it runs fast and clean.
