compatibility administrator does not work with some fix: there was a problem in executing the compiler

I try to use "compatibility administrator" from ACT 5.0 to deploy fix for
crystal report for vista.

I make a new database and save it. If I add 'crystal report ' when I save
the database I get an error:
"there was a problem in executing the compiler. The database could not be
created successfully The database file might be write protected"
with 'crystal report 7' it works fine

Same error with 'visual basic 6'
Why???

Someone in this group might have a fix for you, but I think you would be
better off in a Visual Studio newsgroup, like
Microsoft.public.vstudio.general
