Compatibility Issues with Adobe Acrobat Reader 7

With the January 8th update:

known compatibility issues

I cannot open pdf files

any solutions??

Windows version? Which update? Does the behavior persist if you upgrade to
Acrobat Reader v8.1?

Microsoft Vista automatic update on January 8th. I have not tried to update
to Acrobat Reader v8.1. Also had problems with the update affecting my
Webroot (although that has been fixed).

security vulnerabilities) & reboot.

Certain Spysweeper Shields, if enabled, can cause problems installing
Windows Updates, Lis.
