Many years ago, I worked in retail for a large department store. We had
a regular complaint department. Each day there might be three or maybe ten
customers visit or call. Overall that was less than 1 percent of the total
customers for the day.

Guess what, nearly everyone of them visiting the complaint department
had a problem. Also nearly every one who did not visit the complaint
department were happy with the store.

This is the complaint department. We see the complaints. Just as with
that retail store, we don't have a thank you department. That is just the
way it works.

if it is a complaint department please explain the existence of Frank, bill
yanair and spanky de monkey.

The only classification you can give them is >>>>TROLLS.

They never complain about vista, and they never help people who complain
about vistas problems, they just lurk here and clobber people who complain
about vista.

This is not a complaint department though, its vista.general.. and its a
newsgroup for discussions on anything about vista.

If its about vista you can post it here.

Using the above correct statement as a guide, the only 100% troll as I have
stated is Spanky de monkey aka Kevpan, aka 1000 other names that this troll
uses.

whatever his name is, Mrs asshole who's supposed to be your mother, The

Whatever you say punk, but I seldom post abot linux,

I keep saying that XP is better than vista, not linux. So its more likley
that you have no idea who exactly I am and your accusasions are wrong.

Perhaps you dont like the fact that I say vista is crap and you are bitter
about that. Tough... Join the XP newgroup, the newsgroup of an os that is
NOT crap and you wont see me saying anything bad about xp there.

Unless you asked everyone about the store then you cannot know that " nearly every one " was happy with the store.
Define " nearly every one ".
Did you ask everyone about the store to get an acurate picture of the ratio of "happy" to "non-happy" ?

Absolutely correct Dave. I have attended many, many, customer service
trainings, and one of the first things they talk about is the fact that
the customer rarely lets you know that they are unhappy. So what is it
they do? Like myself, they simply shop somewhere else. That is why it is
so important to be customer service orientated, if you want your
business to do well.

Every single instructor recommended that you actually ASK your
customers, every one you come in contact with, if their experence with
your company was ok and if there is anything "we" can, or
could do better. Why? Because most people don't go to the "complaint
department," again, they will just shop elsewhere. (Alternative OS comes
to mind. LOL)

I think Micro$oft should pay more attention to what testers, techs, and
customers have to say, rather than be so full of themselves they feel no
need to pay attention. One would have thought ME was a great lesson...
Guess not.

I have Vista Ultimate installed and running decent for over a year now.
I can't say I have had near the problems others have had. Lucky I guess.
However, I had FAR less trouble with XP, that is for sure!

You nailed it! Vista repeated the bad mistakes of windowsME and added many
new ones mainly Driver incompatibilities even if its still the same frikin
type of Kernel! ITS STILL NT YOU FRIKIN MSFT MORONS!

Basically there is not enough juice in vista to make all the suffering worth
while...

If it was something magnificent, I would gladly ditch every program and
hardware I have just in order to get the new and better.. But its not new
and better, its STUPID CRAP.
