Complete PC Bacup fails - 0x8078002A

I have in the past managed to execute the "Complete PC Back" with no
issue, last run June 6, 2009 but now (August 18) it is failing with
error message "One of the backup files could not be created
(0x8078002A)".

I made sure the drive was ok (check disk) and that a normal backup of
data worked.

Any ideas?

Any other software that I can purchase to perform the same task?

Hi Miles,
I don't use Vista backup myself - however, it may be that one of the
previous backups has been moved/deleted, in which case resetting the
listing may help.

Otherwise, you could try restarting the pc and see if it works straight
after startup.

If you are looking for a 3rd party app. instead, there are a number to
choose from. Paragon and Acronis are popular products.

Macrium Reflect is an excellent app. - if you only want to do do
drive/partition backups - the free version will do that - and also allow
scheduling. If you also want to do file/folder backups - you need the
paid version.
