Complete System Restore Questions

I have tried several times to complete a system restore (SP1) (not removing
existing programs and documents) on my HP Pavilion 780n and fix one set of
problems to only create new ones. HP restores the original systems file from
a hidden partition so I have no discs. I feel I have no choice but to
reformat the user partion and do a complete SP1 reinstall from that point and
update the security and SP2 files after.

My questions are:
1) Is there a way I can network directly to my other computer and move my
files there and then back to my restored computer after it has been updated?
2) The files I want to move of course are "My Documents, Oulook Express
Address Book and My Internet Bookmarks". (and any other files suggested).
I cannot find the location for the my address book and bookmarks folders.
Where are they located?
3) Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
