You may have a keyboard driver issue.
Look through the installed services and see if there is anything labeled
"keyboard", try disabling it. many systems that have custom keyboards (like
the ones with little "email" buttons) load a special driver. it could be
getting confused.
Also, you could try downloading a malware checker and seeing if you have a
keystroke logger installed - they tend to mess up repeating keystrokes.
Another idea may be to look through the control panel for any user-interface
assistance apps like the "Ease of Access Center", many times, repeating keys
activate them and they interfere with the games.
