Computer Freezing with Windows Vista

I just bought a Toshiba Qosmio with Windows Vista Ultimate that ran
beautifully for the first thirty days. Then I received a message that McAfee
Security was about to expire and I should download an annual subscription. I
did this and since then, my computer locks up every few minutes,
cntrl+alt+del does nothing and the only way to bring the system back up is to
press the on/off togle for a few seconds to bring down the machine. I have
seen other postings about freezes not related to McAfee so am not sure this
is the issue. Is anyone else having this issue and has anyone resolved it?

Rest assured, demand your money back and uninstall McAfee and then install a
free anti-virus program such as AVG or AVAST.
