does your system reboot when not using WLM?

While sipping a glass of green tea, I read that steve wrote in

No my computer works fine at any other time. It's only when I use windows
live messenger I get this rebooting problem. The last version of windows
messenger worked fine.

You're not the only one experiencing this - the problem is with Shared
Folders. Until the mystery bug is found, you'll need to disable Shared
Folders. Some thoughts were that it was AV related but from the people I've
talked to not everyone was running it and the versions and vendors varied
wildly. There was an earlier post claiming that this was being looked into,
but so far no word yet.

I guess we could attempt to find some common cause ourselves - but maybe in
a new thread.
