Computer runs slow after updates

Installed the following updates and now computer runs slow, especially IE and
Outlook. Slow, slow, slow, and some scripts won't run on certain websites,
and IE won't treat cookies as instructed (w/ automatic cookie handling and
medium security, won't open sites where I've manually allowed cookies).
