computer turns off abruptly

Hi..i had recently purchased a new 40 gig hard drive for my computer and i
instlaled windows 2000.it worked fine for a few days until it started to turn
off abruptly.I would have the computer on for about 5 minutes and then it
would automaticlly restart.I dont know what the problem can be but i do need
to resolve this issue asap.if anyone can give me and advice it would be
greatly appreciated.thanks!

Hey, i had the same problem with my computer for the longest time. It
sounds like you have a version of the Sasser virus. If you have many user
accounts on your computer, it's much easier to get rid of this virus. Try
going to www.symantec.com and downloading a virus fix tool for it. I got one
for windows xp, 'cuz i have that computer type and it worked just fine^_^ .
If that doesn't work, please tell me and i'll get you the manual instructions
and you can see if that works. k?
