Just hear loud humming from fans nothing appears on the monitor. Tried
unplugging over night and still the same thing. Don't have windows xp media
center edition disks. I know there is a built in recovery. Help nothing seems
to be working.

You probably would do better posting on a general hardware forum (or at the
PC makers support site), but offhand, it sounds like the power supply has
died. If you are getting no beeps, sounds, or flickers when you start the
computer, that usually indicates no power.

If that is the case, that would be fairly good news, as all you need do is
replace the PS (or find someone to do that) and everything should be fine.

If you do repost at a different forum, you might want to give a little more
information.

Sorry, read your post wrong, I thought you heard a loud humming then
nothing.

If you hear the PC start up (normal beeps and noises), but nothing on
screen, then David's response is probably closer, try another monitor or
plug the monitor into a different PC, to see if maybe a bad video card.
