I have read through some of the threads re: loss of desktop & start men
and have tried some of the suggestions such as opening the task ba
typing in explorer.exe, when I do this the tool bar flashes for just
second then all I have is the blue screen. Any other suggestions woul
be appreciate

You would need to tell us a lot more information about your computer for us
to give you focused help. For instance, we'd need to know the text of the

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed
between the time things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?
