Computers Not Adding to WSUS Server

Hi All,

I formatted my WSUS server due to some virus problem,after that i
formatted and reinstalled OS and WSUS server.I configuered group policy in my
DC for deploying in my client PC's.It is downloading updates from sites with
out any issue.Problem is it not showing any client systems in computers
menu.I tried in two ways.

Way 1:
I configuered the server as a member of domain.And installed WSUS.

WAY 2:
Configuered the system as a ADC (Addtional Domain Controller).And installed
WSUS.

In both ways it not detecting any client PC's also i confiuered group policy
in some client systems after also it not detected even a single system.So pls
let me know solution for me.

OS in the WSUS server is ---- Windows 2000 server,currently coniguered as a
member of domain.Group policy configuered in DC.

Client PC's are XP and 2000 Pro.

Try deleting workstation registry value
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Win dowsUpdate
"SusClientID"

Restart service on workstation

net stop wuauserv
net start wuauserv

Run wuauclt.exe with resetauthorization

wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow

See if that helps...
