Configure advanced user profile properties...

Under User Account control panel (windows vista home premium version
there are two choices that are for some reason disabled - *Configur
advanced user profile properties *and *Change my enviornment variable*
I am the account administrator, and not logged onto a limited account.
also have a second issue that may or may not be related

When I right click a folder, then go to properties, then under th
security tab and hit edit, there is a list of allow or deny boxes t
check - the first one being full control. This list is entirely graye
out to me. I cannot check or uncheck anything. I believe I am gettin
error 1303 when trying to install updates and addons to certain program
because I do not have full control over anything. How can I enable thi
option

I posted this on other forums and am getting "are you logged in a
administrator?" over and over again. I am most definitely logged in a
Administrator. If it is a limited account then I have no idea where o
how to change that. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have acquired access to check or uncheck the boxes as I please
however, I still get a windows security popup that says access denied

All I can say is this is frustrating

I an having the same issue on my two 32 bit machines. If you find
solution let me know
