Hi, Ive noticed there has been many questions about this problem but
unfortunatley non of the solutions seemed to of helped =(
Since Saturday morning this problem has been going on. I turn my laptop on
and it comes up with 'configuring updates 3 of 3. 0% complete. Do not turn
off'. It then switches itself off and then goes through this loop constantly
without progressing in the slightest. Staying at 0%.
My laptop is only 6 months old, so it doesnt have much on it...Im really
dissappointed and stressed by whats happened to it over the last two days as
I rely on it to do all my work! Ive tried everything I can think of - putting
it in safe mode, trying control alt delete. etc etc.
Please please if any of you have anything to advise then I would be more
than grateful for the time and advice.

If you'd done a little searching, you would have seen that several
resolutions for this problem have been posted [1], including this one:

All require the original media - no fixes for those who don't have the
original media though. They have to contact the manufacturer re their OEM
licences.

Yeah, wonder what those who purchased and downloaded Vista online are
feeling now?

This link posted by VRMIO gave me the solution where I only had a recovery
disk on a Toshiba laptop.

No, your link will help those with a MS Vista DVD. The other provided help
for a pre-installed Vista and only a recovery DVD.

And thanks to Google for translation tools.
