configuring windows mail ffrom gmail

I am trying to use outgoing port 465 and incoming port 995 to configure
windows mail from gmail but it is not working. Any suggestions???

Pop 587 SSL SMTP 993 SSL or TSL

OOPS had those backwards!!! and these are for IMAP with Gmail.

IMAP 993 SSL imap.gmail.com

SMTP 587 SSL or TSL smtp.gmail.com

Server Requires Authenication Checked

Yes, you've likely not followed the directions exactly. You have to follow
*all* of them.

Go back to the Google directions and recheck against your settings.
