I don't think we're talking about the same thing.
In the XP "Folder Options" control panel, there was a "File Types" tab,
under which you could manage all file types. When you selected a file type
and opened its Properties box, there was a checkbox labeled "Confirm open
after download."
In Vista, that option has disappeared.
Is there any solution?
