Connectiion problem?

I am getting the following error message " Your connection with Windows Live
Messenger has been lost. Reconnecting in xx seconds."

I am getting this message on 2 different computer with 2 different version
of messenger. Live Messenger 2009 build 14.0.8064.206 and Build 14.0.8089.7726

When I logon with my user Id/Passowrd, both work perfectly. But when I use
my wife's User Id/Password, I am getting this error.

This does not appears to be a sofware problem, nor a Network or Firewall
problem.

It appears to be related to the profile?

Any idea HOW I could resolve the problem?

Thanks.

Pierre

Got the same problem:

1) On PC1, when my daughter logs in within a few seconds Messenger reports a
lost connection and then loops.
2) On PC1, if I login with my account Messenger works just fine.
3) My daughter can login to Messenger Live on the web and to hotmail, etc,
no problems
4) On PC2, both my daughter and I can login to Messenger without problem.

What's going on? The only major difference between PC1 and PC2 is XP & W7.
But since I can login to Messenger on both PC's I don't see this as relevant.

Thanks for any help.
