Connectin issuses after installing latest update.

My computer recently updated with the latest updates for Vista (5/27/08).
Ever since then I have had some issues with websites failing to load. I will
attempt to go to a website or a website may attempt to open another window
and I end up in limbo. The page fails to load with no time out given. It
will attempt to load indefinetly. This is happening with sites that I never
had a problem with before (one being www.dl.edu.gov). Can anyone help m to
fix this issue other than to uninstall the updates which I am going to do
until this is resolved.

Without knowing which updates were installed it's difficult to supply a
fix for this issue, Keith.
Check the list of updates that were installed on 5/27 and post back with
the KB numbers of each of them.

IF an updated driver for the network adapter [NIC] was installed, I'd
start with uninstalling that one first.
Open Device Manager and locate the network adapter
Open that by double clicking on it, or *right* click it and choose
Properties.
Click the Driver tab
The Driver date should now be listed.
Is it a newer driver ?
If yes, then click the Rollback Driver button to reinstall the previous
driver.
