Hello all, I am looking for advice on the following problem:
I recently perchased a new sony vaio with windows vista, the problem is I
have been unable to access the microsoft web site to obtain any updates,
either by usuing the update tool or through microsofts website (typing the
address into the browser). When I attempt to connect it just takes an age
before eventually stating connection not available. I am using a Belkin
G+MIMO Router, for both this computer (currently on my old one using XP) and
the Sony, I can access most other websites fine, although have a problem with
the odd one. Have spoken to Sony who can not explain the problem, and have
tried turning of the firewalls etc.
Has any one encountered this before and more importantly, can any one help?
