Connecting outlook address book to word

How can I get 'MS Word' to open 'Outlook address book' when I am addressing
envelopes. When I click on the address book icon when trying to address
envelopes all it shows is 'MSN' in the window. MSN is my on line provider
and mail. Thanks for any help!
