Please be patient with this question as I am a great grandmother and need
help. I have a new computer and with Vista. My old computer has MS XP and I
use Outlook Express 6. My server is earthlink. Now here is my problem. I
want to transfer my mail from Outlook to Windows Mail so I went to Earthlink
and they told me how to do this but it did not work, I have been to them 3-4
on the same subject and I cannot connect to the internet from my new computer
which I should tell you is a dial up because we live out in the country and
we don't get cable, or any of those other things. Now on my XP even when I
get my emails a box will come up stating that pop failed and it comes up
showing earthlink and then my email address and I think that's why I can't
set the Vista up because they keep telling me to use pop and smtpauth. I
could really use some help if someone could go to the network set up box on
vista and let me know exactly what to put in those blanks because I've put
just about everything I could and still I have to come over to the old
computer to get my mail and send mail (and like this long note). I would
appreciate all the help I can get and please about the connection to the
internet along with the emails I'll thank you ahead of time.

Does this help Lois, they seem to have made it as hard to find as
possible...
