I'm having the same problems but haven't found someone with the same problem
as yet. For me it only starts to happen after about 9pm in the evening but
before then it's fine. It happens at least every 2 minutes and I can't have a
conversation with anyone.
I'm using 8.1.0178.00 through Wired and Wireless Netgear DG834GT with
firmware version 1.02.04. I've used two PCs, two different sign-on's as well
both having the same problem.
I've connected through a USB router supplied by my ISP but that doesn't
solve it. So I believe there's a problem somewhere but I can only think the
problem is with the software or server. I've started logging my connection to
the text file so if someone requires that to be pasted when I have a
connection drop I'd be happy to post it.
I've contacted the support for messenger but they seem happy to send an
plain email without reading the problem.
I'm very frustrated.
