Hi,

Have MS dropped connectnews as well now? I am trying to read the SBS
2011 articles on that server but since last month the server is not
answering NNTP connections.

Thanks.
Andrew.

Gone. Never to return. Your only option is to use their forums. Or the very
limited support available here. (Limited because MS has stopped hosting all
NGs, and most MVPs seem to have abandoned them as well. )

A shame as the forum interface is just not up to it (imho).

I am trying out the NNTP bridge, but I don't think it gives you access
to the Connect forums does it?

Thanks.
Andrew.

The SBS fora are regular MS fora. The Community Bridge does just fine with
them.

Even the SBS7 beta forums?

Andrew.

That is only available via the web interface from connect, so far as I'm
aware. Hopelessly unusable.

Thanks. Will pop into the SBS forums once I configure Live Mail on
this system (my aging copy of Agent is showing the raw HTML in the
messages, which is no good).

Andrew.
