Conntecting to a SBS 2003

Hello

When I change a Vista Ultimate laptop (ASUS) from workgroup to domain it
takes 20 min to get to desktop.

Anyone know why?

I'm taking a wild guess here, but network discovery?

Also, if it's wireless, the hub may not be broadcasting.

I have realised now that the network card also doesnt work unless I disable
it and then enable it. Then all seems ok until i reboot again.

This never happened until I changed to a domain.

That is almost always a problem with a misconfigured DNS setting. Make sure
the Vista client is using the SBS 2003 server for DNS and no other DNS
servers. There's also some updates you need to do to both the server and
Vista to properly join an SBS domain.
