Constant disconnection with 8.1

hi guys
i was using wlm 8 before this mandatory upgrade
because the version 8.1 was always disconnecting me after about 30sec
i'm guessing a bug, that hasn't been fixed yet.

so i stayed with v8 and all was fine

but now because u forced me to use 8.1
i can't use WLM 8.1 because it will disconnect every 30sec.

it will sign in evey time, but disconnects every time too .

not happy guys
u should never force an upgrade unless u have a 100% perfect version
and in this case, from reading most of the posts, u haven't got anywhere near
a stable running program, all earlier versions had less problems than 8.1

but u guys still thought a fored upgrade was a good idea..... hmmm
shame on you's...

a fix or upgrade soon would be nice, since this disconnection problem has
been around since 8.1 was released.... and that's a long time to still not
have fixed it,
just can't understand why you would force an upgrade with all the problems
that has been reported, unstable YES! but hey lets force ppl to use it
anyway...

I have exacly the sam problem as you, tried 8.1 once. Reinstalled 8.0, and
that version was ok... Now that i´m forced to use 8.1 ican´t use my messenger
at all.... It is disconnecting all the time. And i´m really ****ed off

Yeah i have problem with v8.1 too....I'm very happy with v8.0 as it works
very well and never cause any trouble.With v8.1 i can't receive my friend's
webcam and also can't use video call...this is so bad !!!! But with v8.0 ,i
never had any problem!!

You are forcing us to upgrade,i think you should stop that and let us choose
which version fits our need...

And please someone who work with msn read this,stop forcing us to upgrade as
this v8.1 isn't practical !!!

I believe I solved the disconnecting problem
I reinstall windows xp pro, and all's good now.

I still don't like wlm 8.1 but HEY!
at least i can use it now

Try a clean reinstall
it might work for you 2. Tonni & Natt
