Constant Windows Update notice

I have Windows 98. Approxiamtely every day I get a pop-up notice for Windows
Update with the options of reviewing now or remind me later. When I click on
now, it opens to the Windows Update page. On the page it indicates
"Administrators Only", no download and to sign in . I am NOT an administrator
and there appears there is nothing for me to do. How can I get this notice to
stop? Thanks.
