Constantly "not responding"

Ive been having a huge issue with almost all programs at some point
during their use. I will simply be in the middle of browsing on the
internet and it says not responding, i'm then forced to close the
program. This happens very often. When i am in safe mode however the
computer works to full performance.

I had same problem for months. In my case it had something to do with being
connected to a network with a domain controller . Once I switched it to a
workgroup p2p network it stopped all that non responding crap.
have since installed the SP1 beta and reconnected to the domain and it is
100% better now.
