Constantly re-installing

I don't know if this is a windows update problem exactly or something with my
registry but windows update keeps installing the same 8 updates over and over
again.

I went into the reg and found the keys for them and deleted them and
installed again. Still does this. Windows anti-spy ware might be doing the
same thing.

In my reg, the update keys are under the folder "sp3" instead of the "sp2"
folder. Could this be the problem? Why are they being placed there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this constant installing and
restarting (once per day) is REALLY annoying.

how do you fix this i cant find anything to help me even contacted microsoft
and had no reply thanks

i sort of had same problem when i uninstalled certain programs. am learning
that the backup program may be causing the replacements.
