Contact Card Problem

I've had a consistent problem with Windows Live Messenger. Here it goes:

I had an email address which I used for my ID "", we'll
call it Email A. I decided to transfer my ID from Email A to a Hotmail
account "" (Email B). When I did this, at first everything
was fine. But then, my contacts couldn't see me online and I couldn't see
them online. Looking at my contact card on their end, instead of it showing
my instant messaging address as Email B, it had reverted back to the
transferred Email A. So because messenger is looking for an account that is
Email A it doesn't see me online from my friends point of view and vice
versa. The only way to fix it is to delete me as a contact and then readd me
using Email B for the instant messaging address. However, over time, and what
appears to be randomly the instant messaging address will change back to
Email A. Thus, the problems start all over again.

Is there any way to fix this? Or is this a problem no one has even heard of.
Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings,

Actually this problem has been heard of time and time again with changing ones Windows Live
ID address. Generally, the fix is switch your account back to the old address and try again.

Unfortunately when transferring it to a Hotmail address you cannot switch back.

This is entirely a server-side problem and there isn't anything you personally can really do
about it besides contact Messenger Support Services and having it escalated:
