contact limit maximum?

Hello,
I found many different sites with many different values for the maximum
amount of contacts, someone said 300, 600 or no limit, on some other
sides I found differents for blocked contacts, contacts on the List.

I am confused, is there somewhere a MS website about it, or some others
"trustworthy" about it?

The limit is 600 contacts on the main contact list. If you're using all 600, I would like to
hear about how you manage them
