Contact list disappeared

I'm using Messenger 7.5
I have tried to install Messenger Live, but my contacts disappeared, so I
have uninstalled it, and I am using 7.5 again.
Where are my contacts in Messenger 8?

Hi Valent,

Re-install Messenger 8, log in to Messenger 8 (and make sure your contacts
are still missing).

Exit Messenger 8, then clear your contacts cache by deleting the folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Contacts\<your email>

Then restart Messenger 8.

Your contacts should re-appear.

Thanks, maybe it works, but I have tried an other way:
First I uninstalled MSN 7.5, and installed live, now it works.

It's very strange.
At home, WLM works fine, but in my office, WLM doesn't show my contacts.

I think it is some firewall setting problem, maybe new ports are used by
WLM, which is not used in the previous version, and it might be disabled in
our firewall/proxy server. I will talk to our sysadm, to find it out.
