It's a bug in Outlook Express. If you were to export to a CSV (Comma
Separate Values) text file and include First, Last and Full names,
you'll find that the first and last name fields are empty for those
problem entries.
This comes about in OE when you use the add to address book option in a
message. The first and last name fields don't get filled in although
they seem to be when viewed from OE.
If you have access to a PC with a working version of XP, you can copy
your WAB file there and do the export to CSV. You don't have to import
into OE or alter the existing WAB on that PC to do this. See:
The Windows Address Book (WAB)
http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm
If you don't have any groups that you imported, what you could do is
wipe out what you imported in WLM. Then open the CSV file in Excel and
use some string functions to split the full name into first and last
names. Then save the CSV file and import that into WLM.
