Hi, sorry if this has been mentioned before but I can't find a solution in
previous topics.
I have one contact who always appears to go "offline" as soon as I answer or
strike up a conversation with them, although they are online & we can usually
chat ok.
I don't have this problem with any of my other contacts at all.

Anyone with any idea as to why this should happen?

While the description of the problem may not be the same as what you are
experiencing, the fix/workaround that is described at this blog entry may
help.

Give it a try.

Hi Jason & thanks for the prompt reply.

I have tried that idea before I wrote (perhaps I should have mentioned that,
sorry!). I have also tried repairing the install. Still have the same problem.

BTW the contact isn't running WLM, just the 'old' messenger.

Any more ideas please?
